Buzz Aldrin's answer to a active sceptic "nobody" was to lay the sceptic
out with a single punch and then continue about his business as if nothing
had happened. Buzz Aldrin is 72.

Aldrin will always be a "somebody". The sceptic was a "nobody" became a
"somebody" for a few minutes and is now a "nobody" again.

As for the sceptics, their attempts to dismiss the moonlandings are based
on such a pathetic understanding of engineering and physics that anyone
with a moderate education would be able to refute them.

A deliberate "disbelief" in scientific teachings is now common in Western
culture. c.f. mobile phone mast objections, healthy diets, nvCJD, BSE. The
reason for the distrust and disbelief can be layed at the door of the
attrocious level of technical education (certainly in the UK) and the fact
that government employed scientists are paid to give out scientific advice
biased and tainted in favour of the current government (their employer)
rather than the simple truth.

Did men walk on the moon. Most definitively yes. Given the technology of
that time, if would have been too hard to fake :-)
