Thanks Tomi, Steve and Paul for the information, it certainly helps me 
understand what is going on with MT63 and other complex modes.  I agree 
that my scope was one of my limiting factors, perhaps a storage scope could 
catch those peaks that I missed.  I do have an Anritzu S332D spectrum 
analyzer that has a peak hold feature and can automatically measure channel 
power.  I will fire it up and see what I get.
