Come on! Nowadays almost EVERY ham has a CPU with enough
muscle to run MT63! They are cheaper than a ham rig and have
tons of other useful applications.

Not as easy to use? This claim really puzzles me since both act as
a black box to the operator. You turn on the program, select COM1
adjust the volume and boom, youa re on the air.
If THAT is too hard for hams they are REALLY in trouble!
How ill they EVER figure out the instructions for erecting that
commercial antenna they just bought?
How will they fill oput its warranty card online without a decent
CPU. (OK I am exagerrating for fun now!)

My experience has been quite the reverse. Honestly, for me, MT63
is FAR more useful as a keyboard mode than PSK31.

Your mileage may vary. Yes, they are all great modes.
I don't like MFKS16 because it has often been very hard to
tune in. But I still use it if I hear someone on.
