Pay attention, Warren. You are not reading what I said -- again. The Ghan
ran only as far as Alice Springs until the rail link was completed in
2003. Before that there was no rail between the Alice and Darwin. Here is
a quote from a website:

There is plenty on the Internet about this train which has become one of
