Not all. Biodiesel is still on sale here so someone must still be
producing it.
The drop in performance using ethanol need not necessarily be any problem.
I use autogas which is supposed to give a drop in performance but I can
switch from one fuel to the other with no noticeable difference in
performance or speed. Probably it depends on how hard the engine has to
work to propel the car. My car is 4 litre so there is power to spare.
As for alternative fuels we have to wait and see. At best we have not the
knowledge to guess what may turn up or what alternative fuel is developed.
We have to leave that to the experts, which we are not.
