>Title : Re: VE3WBZ > Bars, cars & man from Mars
Hey hi Warren ...heres your new injection of Bars, cars and
man from mars...but only without nuts, cuz they're banned
from school now.
>Darn, now I've got Rapture by Blondie going around in my
>head again! Maybe that's why I don't remember Bobby Darin
>in a turbine car but I remember James Dean in a Spyder.
Yeah! Rock yourself out Kaptain! Yep thats the one
Bobby Darin played some dude called Jessie Ownens and his
plymouth turbine, hahahaha with the phoney car and screen
behind him reminded me of the Beach movies of the period
too for other stars and rock n roll bands.
Sorry I wasn't a real Spyder fan... I felt very sorry that
James Dean with a real future and high hopes died so young.
>Don't get that confused with the Spider, a cheap knock off
>of a world class racer with a custom engine.
Well thats normal. They always buy the name and put some
lemon unerneath the name. Just like a few others I can
think of... they never can equal what the original was
and still is....if they remember that far back.
Hey I saw half a "Shelby" in a store...just the front part
..but then look what FORD did when they snagged the Shelby
name and produced that under powered metal can.
>Speaking of Pat Boone .....
mmmm I try to forget him really.
>*** TELNET DISCONNECTED

>the rest of this composed as a text file sends properly.
I think there are too many crows, stones and frogs getting
it your way ... must be it..right?
>That Hillman Avenger, wasn't that the car driven by
>Patrick McNee in a certain 60s TV show... or was that
>Diana Rigg in her sexy Cat Woman type outfit?
Oh the show the avengers....Remember that...nah he or Diana
drove a classy set of wheels on the show... with the Hillman
Avenger if they drove that, everyone would think they were
KGB ...hahahaha.
>Hmmm... on the other hand maybe the Paulo was designed for
>only going downhill, an Avenger it's not.
Still trying to get a make. I will try send you a picture
of it.
>Well there you have it, the thing was designed for city
>traffic and obviously there are no hills in town.
Yes..it does spend most of it's time driving in the city.
I see a lot of'em ... and there is hills, but then stop and
go so everyone is stopped or moving slowly. Thats another
topic, as I jump on the bus or subway.
>I GUARANTEE it would never make it's way out of Penn Square
>in Reading PA, since it's a park you'd just park it on the
>grass and let the polce dump it in the Schuykill River.
>Now you're going to ask me how to pronounce it. (;->)
Pronounce what? I don't know Pen Square, but then there
are favvellas and the Paulo does make it thru there...no
one would steal one of these...just no where near the
getaway car of choice.
