Howdy,
The inventor of AATE was Haswell Karl.
It was Ron Rockwell and Cliff Cruz who developed the AATE.
Through trial and error and 3 milion dollars later, they finally completed
the first functioning prototype in 2006.

As far I can make out that engine exist; but at what cost??
I believe testing is still done; improvements are made also.
