Hello Car Lovers ....at world and beyond;

Mention is made of the history, of the VW, beginnings, and to whom
the credit, is really to go to, and by far it isn't Hitler.

IF one really wants a interesting history, into the VW, and how it
started, try starting with a man called "Josef Ganz".

Of course this came up last time, we touched on it, which is like
a wheel coming round again, so sorry I don't want to get into the
same aeguments again, on what is documented and acknowledged.

Josef Ganz fled Germany in 1934, and yes Ferdinand Porsche got the
call from Hitler to make this car.... actually first seen in a
European Car show 1933.

Mr. Ganz died in Australia in 1967.

Maria, has also corrected me, in that in Brasil, the "Fusta" is
the name of the VW Bug <Beetle> and It isn't Combi but "Kombi"
for the Type2 bus.

Interesting to note too, is that West Germany, want to give a medal
to Ganz, who had Australian citizenship, and the Australian Government
would not allow it. Too bad ... sour grapes there.

Oh well..thats life. What a great CAR @WW we've had so far... from
Air Cars, from MDI to licencee TATA of India, to Wankel and VW "kafer"
to history... whats next?

The Proge Carburetor? Nah ... who knows? Up to everyone out there...

Gotta go, too nice to be stuck inside..
