Hello Warren and Ian, and thanks for the postings, they
are quite thought provoking, and worth comparing with
what is promised now, on paper August 2012.

There are now a few autos, not only in the US ,but Canada
that offer up an alternative to Gasoline, and it seems
most have locked on to battery powered, and refilling
by pluging in at home or the office. Before being offered
on the market, they were tested here, and their test
humans love'em so much they bought them, and then
as the next generation came out for the market they
bought the newer model.

If it has to have an internal combustion motor, then I guess
this one in the magazine is one of many, to give the oil
companys a nightmare, and then too a cut into their profits.

Tata has the price in India as being 365,757 Rupees, or in US money
$ 8,177.00 ...but then we'll have to wait and see, as those offered
now might find themselves obselete.

Awitching to Ian G0TEZ's offering;

I only have the hardcopy print of what is called the "Mini Cat"
and all credit is given to MDI's ex-formula one engineer, as well
as the U-tube which shows quite a few models, so I guess I missed
that one Ian.

Funny you mentioning this, as my father mentioned this long ago
to me, and had some pretty good historical facts to back up what he
was saying, and there were quite a few alternatives. Nothing new
really, just not the technology to really make them worthwhile.

YES... the biggest problem was the size of the batterys. No solar then.

Did we not discuss this one night. I dare say, as soon as the
gasoline engine was put to work in a car, they were looking for ways
to make the car better, but for the lack of undeveloped technology.

BIG money stopped it over here Ian. As you state Mazda had them
as the power plants, and then they just disappeared, and I wonder
if buying a part of the company saw their demise.

aaah comeon Ian..I love those flashy mag wheels, and the thrush mufflers
and stripes, and ...mmmm...make'em bumble bee types hhahha...yeah.
BUT
I really had a plain Jane, with the BIG motor under the hood and well
gas was cheap, as the needle indicating fuel... certainly moves from
Full to E ...really quick.

Now I drive the 4 popper, and I wouldn't mind a air engine. Yeah I
will be looking at them when they arrive here. I do like the little
two-seater Smartcar by benz. That is so cute.

aah...time to load the dishwasher-like-machine...have some tea and
blab a while with Maria... so see you new time. The Mini Cat BTW
looks like that vehicle called the Element.

What gets me also is the range at only 300km ... oh well
