Hi All,
I have a steam engine here which I built up from an old set of plans I
found in a 1930's hobby engineering magazine. In theory it is a 1/2
horsepower engine and should run on about 50 to 100 PSI steam.... I have
never ever got around to building a boiler because that requires licenses
and all sorts of testing etc.

Whenever someone asks for a demo I run the "steam" engine on good old
ordinary compressed air from my air compressor. Not green but it works and
I presume gets the energy by cooling the air as it expands in the
cylinder.

                                    Regards Tony VK3API
