Hi Fella's,
Seems to me that the world will soon be stopping altogether ! No more
affordable motion lotion available.
We here in RSA are now looking at just on R10-00 per litre for 95 lead
free petrol and the price of Diesel is very much the same. Our taxes
amount to nearly half of that since we also have a Road Accident Fund
contribution included in this.
Our Rand is at present running at R6.73 to the US$ and with Brent Crude at
US$ 124.00 a barrel (or so we are told) Juice is becoming exceeding
costly.
I run an ancient Ford Mondeo (1999) which I am lucky to get 14 KPL from on
a long run, but only 11 kpl in town. Being a pensioner I am forced to keep
it to tow our equally ancient (1975) Gypsey caravan. This too is fast
becoming a No-no... Caravan parks are close enough at 28 km's but they are
busy pricing themselves off the market to counter the slow down in
occupancy.
