Hi Pete and all,
I'm wondering if NJT will ever get on the Bio Diesel band wagon or bus
wagon if you prefer, we sure have plenty of sources around here and even
more in metro areas. Great advertizing too, how about a McD's ad on the
side of a bus that smells like French fries or KFC on one that smells
like fried chicken? Hey, at least it's better than petroleum Diesel stink!
Oh greenies, why did you bring THEM up when they're better put down like
rabid animals? Yeah, that crap about treating dead CFLs like hazmat is
rediculous, we just toss them the same as their bigger brothers and
nobody's ever the wiser. That's not the only self contradiction they've
created, just about everything they've said and done from the start has
been counterproductive in and of itself and does more harm than good in
the long run. The bigger problem is our polititicians more interested in
votes, that is staying in power than the good of the people, frankly I've
always hated self serving interests but try to find one these days who
puts ANYTHING ahead of self.
Yeah, Toronto is just one city in decline but you can't blame everything
on greenies no matter how much damage they've done. They're not alone,
again it's the politicians but this time their self serving interests
include their cronies in big business, the Old Boy Network and the famous
greasy handshakes. If the famous Red Rockets go the city will be like any
other, but frankly unless the transit system is in dire straits I doubt
the only non polluting public transport is going any time soon.
You haven't come out with it but I have a feeling that dog ban is all
about bull terriers aka pit bulls. They're a contraversial breed that's
banned in some of our cities too, mostly out of fear because of their bad
reputation as trained fighters. Contraversial because their temperment is
pretty neutral by nature, they end up what they're trained to be, good or
bad. Eh, I have serious doubts some "greaseball" could have a Lab put
down without some SERIOUS proof that one individual is a danger to the
community, the breed's reputation is too well established for fear to be
a factor.
Stray from the topic? If the desert nomads can use camel dung to cook the
evening meal and warm their tents the greenies can do likewise with dog
poop! (Not to mention what they're having for supper.)
