Hi Barry and all,
Frankly I've never heard of backfeeding a wind generator for whatever
reason but I have seen them idle when becalmed. Aside from being wasteful
I see no tecnically feasable way of doing so considering the fact there
is more to keeping certain output factors stable and to standards in
order to run generators in tandem and feed the power grid at the same
time. Edison found out the hard way what happens when one generator goes
on line before it's fully synchronized, a dead engineer teaches a hard
lesson!
Sorry 'bout that, I'll take the blame here. All that was off was your
timing, after a session of dancing all around me like a cat on a hot tin
roof Bob gets all itchy-twitchy like a Tazmanian Devil and attacks
anything and everything in sight. It gets especially dicey when you ask
him to explain the impossible right on the heels of me issuing the same
challenge, wait until the fuel cell stops producing hydrogen and the air
currents dissipate that explosive mixture. (;->)

Uh oh, there you go again. Somehow I don't think he sleeps in a wind farm
and monitors the turbines every waking hour so don't expect any sort of
