Well I don't know whether what you say is true and neither do you. I
don't think companies such as those doing the drilling and retrieving the
oil/gas would have any cause to exaggerate the amount of reserves. Why
should they? The shareholders own the companies and would have had some
expectations in their glossies and the billion dollar developments would
have to have some promise of a reasonable life or they would not be worth
developing. It is easy to be cynical if you don't have to produce evidence
to prove what you say.
The infrastructure being built to get the gas is huge. Whole towns are
built around it (Karratha, Eaneabba two of the most significant) though
some of the oil and gas places have a fly in fly out work force. That is
necessary when your work place is in the middle of the ocean as are some
of those.
A report a few days ago listed this state as leading the nation in
development. I can't prove they are speaking the truth and neither can you
prove they are not.
Have another frog. You ate that last one I sent.Delicious with hot sauce.
Ribbit!

>It's a swampy subject is it not? (;->) I'll bet you a donut they're
telling you there is more gas than there is, take a geo survey and call
it "reserves" but you don't know what's down there until you drill. They
came up WAY short on US oil reserves or in other words got caught in yet
another lie. It's called feel good propaganda.
