Hello all Fuel watchers ....
Since last posting, I've been watching the CDN $ . 8 ... at the
pump edge up until CDN$ 1.02 /litre regular petrol <gasoline>, as
of last night. We've been not going out too much, and making
our trips count, with various places to go, etc ....somewhat
like the old saying... " killing a few birds ,with one stone".
Here in the Jackson's Point area, the gas has been the lowest
I have seen, therefore I try to fuel here before going anywhere.
Today's motion lotion was CDN $ .95:6 /litre regular. We've
seen it go at the next town at CDN $ .99:9 and in the big
town our destination, for those following along on the map
in Newmarket CDN $ 1.00:9/litre.
As for Furnace Oil, we did take delivery on October 14th.,2009
and the cost was CDN $ .76:90 /litre. I will be getting another
delivery again as I went for partial fill, so we'll see togther
how much it will go up.
The bottomline is we've adjusted when we go out. Not too many
fillups now, as it it once a week. What amazes me, is when
seeing the new transit system in this town....ONLY "1" or "2"
people are ever seen , on what looks like a deserted bus.
Oh well .... we're all in this together...keep your sticks on
