Hi Bob,

I wasn't commenting on the success or failure of the scheme, just
providing a list of trials.

The figures you provide speak volumes for the fuel used. I well remember
the front cover of Radio, Televison & Hobbies in the late 60's that showed
a red Holden straight six engine running from Hydrogen, and the
accompanying text that told of the exhaust "fumes" being water. The doubt
then was safe storage of the Hydrogen.

We had a transport system in Sydney that produced no exhaust. It was
called electric trams. They shifted more people than can ever be shifted
by bus but some Richard Cranium (Dick is short for Richard, head is
another word for Cranium) engineer or politician decided they had to go.
Full marks to Melbourne for keeping trams.

But, if we still had trams we might not have an Opera House which is sited
on an old tram depot.

Cheers ... Ray vk2tv
