I noticed your remark that I am slow in the uptake. I am quick enough when
you talk sense.
I meant we use motor scooters to save on fuel costs since they do about
100 mpg or thereabouts. At over $1.15 per litre which is our price here
that is a significant saving in travel expense. At the price you pay for
petrol in the USA cost is not such a factor though you Yanks complain
loudly at what you do pay. OK, our prices have dropped markedly but at the
current exchange rate $1.00 per litre is pretty high compared to what you
pay.
And you reckon I am slow in the uptake??
