Hi Bob and all,
It looks like this is another runaway train so I'll put the brakes on
this topic too. Your understanding of the chemestry behind hydrocarbon
fuels is abysmal, none are green, all produce the same combustion
products that by today's greenie (il)logic are pollutants. It's the
engine that's green, higher fuel efficiency and lower emissions is the
way it's going these days, even Diesel locomotives are being overhauled
and refitted with new gensets to meet EPA emissons standards.
The only advantage if you can call it that ethanol has is reducing our
dependence on oil but at the sacrifice of fuel efficiency. Some
advantage, burn more and produce more CO2, yet the greenies love it. To
borrow an English phrase, funny ol' wuld iddnit?
"It is greener because it causes less pollution."
Being green you and your blue girlfriend sure look a pair. Like them you
have it bass ackward so I say once again just to annoy you, you're
confused.
