There might lie the error causing your problem.....
In Security/ Services I have as the first entry (not sure it makes any
difference how the entries are ordered)..
1 EcholinkUDP 5198 - 5199 (Note these need to be set up as UDP type ports)
2 EcholinkTCP 5200 (Note this needs to be a TCP type port)
Then in Security/ Firewall Rules..
You need to enable the above two items for Inbound. I don't know whether it
was necessary, but I also enabled them for Outbound too.
The DG834G is particularly easy to mess about with in confidence, because you
have an easy means to save and restore its configuration. So before you change
anything, save a copy of your current settings....
Choose (under Maintenance) 'Backup Settings'... This gives three options, save
a copy of the settings as a file on your HDD, Restore setting from a file, or
restore back to factory defaults.
