Greetings;

> I wash wondering what modem do you use today for RF ?

Currently I'm using a TNC3S flashed with 6-pack on my pc/FlexNet DOS
running on Linux using DOSEmu. It has 2 1200 baud modems, one on 2-mtrs
for the user interface and the other on 220mhz for the network backbone.
I hope to be deploying out another TNC3S which has a 1200 baud modem
and a 9600 baud modem for another future backbone link on 9600 baud.

For reserve I also have Tiny II's with 6-pack eproms and MFJ 1270's also
with 6-pack. All at 1200 baud.

My pc/FlexNet hooks into the linux stack using axip to URONode which provides
NetRom/ROSE/FlexNet/IP services, along with cross-port digipeating both from
FlexNet and the axdigi module included in URONode.

I'm very impressed with the Symek TNCs and modems. The fact that they're
modular in design makes it easy to upgrade them and they seem very flexible
along with very durable. I wish Ulf wouldn't retire the company!
