Hi All,
VE7ACF here to let you know of my dissatisfaction with MFJ!
Prior me ordering the MFJ-66, MFJ claimed their coils opererate
as good as the Heathkit MD-1250 Grid Dip Meter on their MFJ-249.
I had Jim Shurden from MFJ Customer Service, verify through email
via the internet the MFJ-66 coils are equal to the Heathkit MD-1250.
I still have the original email from him stating such.
Being assured from Jim Shurden, I ordered the MFJ-66, after they arrived,
I tested them.
To my surprise, they did not operate even close as MFJ stated.
The MFJ-66 coils were tested with two (2) hams and myself.
I emailed MFJ back for a full refund. They agreed because of their
30 day no hassle gaurrantee LESS the shipping expenses.
However, I demanded my shipping expenses ($8.00 US) also be refunded
due to their statement the coils were eqaul to the Heathkit MD-1250
and were not.
They flattly refused.
I returned the coils and the MFJ-66 cost was refunded but not the
shipping charges of $8.00 US. I have waited approximately two (2)
months and no refund. It cost me $8.00 US to "test" their
MFJ junk!
As far as I am concerned, MFJ lied to me! I ordered the MFJ-66 with their
confirmation of operation. I have been ripped off!
Beware of MFJ.
