Ok a iittle tidbit for you on how well this thing works for me here
on land with a moderate ground system and 33' marine whip. just worked
a ea6 on 40m cw and got a good 569 report, band is a little noisy tonight.
Have also worked in the last week a ve6 on 80m with a 559. Plan to improve
the ground on this set up come warmer wx. I realise this is a compromise
atenna system, but I can errect it and maintain it, without having to drag
in a crew of help from the Anaapolis Valley which is a good 45 minute
drive from here. I am also looking ahead to the next 20 years when good
help for antenna work will be hard to find, unless you are willing to pay,
and with my shoe string set up here, paying for help is out of the question.
