I don't think fear of the law even comes into the picture. Maybe we
exercise our right to vote more readily and really want to have a say in
who governs the country.The fine is quite small and would not financially
embarrass anyone.
On the internet I heard nothing from those I contact in the USA but
complaints about Bush and then we have our English friend who continued to
tear his PM to pieces in public. Unfortunately he started on our PM too
which was rather rude of him.
I never once said Australians are more patriotic than Americans. I don't
think that for one moment. My comment was that far from getting a new flag
people in my immediate area seem to be making more fuss of the present
flag than I have ever seen before. Fact in this state. Remember to change
the flag would need the agreement of this state too whatever the other
states decide.
