} I succesfuly installed Mandrake 9.0 on a very small machine: Pentium
} 233MMX with *only* 32Mb EDO RAM and 4Mb PCI S3 Video board, Trio make.
} The Trident Sound board is also fully recognised and opperational, as
} well as a 3COM 3C509B ISA Combo Ethernet card.
} Now I downloaded YAM driver and LinKT Packet Software.
} Well, I believe that TCP/IP layers have to be supported by the Linux
} Kernel before any application on the above layers could communicate with
} the Level 1 Yam driver.
} Damn, seems a hard work. I think I should compile a new kernel isnt'it ?
} Any tip ?
Nah,
Yam is already in the MDK9 kernel, no need to recompile. Tis the beauty of
MDK and SuSE.
