Hi Bob and readers,
I still have no idea what this has to do with 40M or what is invading but
here goes nothing. Well, not much.
First of all, if I haven't listened to anyone in my life Packet Wars
would still be going strong and my callsign would still be blocked at
GB7FCR BBS. Thanks Jeff.
You ask WHY you should not be offended by my remarks about your
Parlement? Frankly I don't know which word fits, audacity or stupidity,
the question more amazes me I guess. I have already answered you on that
point, stop and think a moment about what I said about stones and
sinners. If all else fails, word has it sin is universal and Parlement is
no conclave of saints. I also quoted "If thine eye offends thee, pluck it
out." and that seems to be what you have done to truth, it offends you so
now you're blind.
Forgiveness is a virtue so if you can forgive ending a sentence with a
preposition you can forgive truth for offending you. At least it's better
than ending a sentence with a proposition, that can get you in serious
trouble. (;->)
Oh, one last thing. Samuel Clemens (Mark Twain) once called Congress the
largest group of organized criminals in the US and he was more than a
writer of novels, he was a humorist. Yup, political satire always is
based on truth, if it weren't it wouldn't be satire. I have YET to
discover in all my research ONE American (other than perhaps a
Congressman) Mr. Clemens had ever offended.
