You even can controll the HF with a neon bulb or with two small lamps
like we use it as a "parking light" in the car.

It is not sure that they light in every case, this depends wheather you are
on the more or less high current flow or the more or less high voltage.

I shunted these two bulbs with 6 turns of the same wire I used for the 
coil with a diamater of 1 cm..

Because it is affecting SOMETIMES the tuning I use a double switch to 
shunt it with a short over the lamps like:
            Antenna feeder

        ×_____               ×__
        X /  //              X /     etc.
        I /  o               I /
        I_I__I

        × ×   ×
     Bulb I   I
        shunt I
              I
            switch
     

So pause now, enough is enough
