Indeed a dipole with balanced feeder is always fine be it with a approx
600 Ohms ladder line or a 450 Ohms or 300 Ohms ribbon feeder. The
antenna's shape does not matter all that much. Even a loop will usually do
well.
However one needs a suitable antenna matching unit ,which fortunately can
be home brewed relatively easily.
I have to admit ,for many years I followed the 'coax feeder culture' for
HF,but since I have a dipole with ribbon feeder , I'll never change again
, at least for wire antennas. The 450 Ohms ribbon feeder runs through the
house over the loft into the groundfloor shack , without any interference
problems.

I would recommend a balanced feeder wire antenna ,be it a straight or
folded or inverted V dipole or a loop to any HF operator.
