Boffins ? How can they be boffins if they had *supposedly* done their
homework for the ACA and come up with an answer to support NO CHANGE in
Region 1's 40m allocation but then changed their minds ?
To be so easily swayed must have meant that these so called "boffins"
did'nt have a clue in the first place.

But it took everyone else to tell them they were wrong. That should never
had been needed if the "Boffins" were so sure of their facts :-)

I don't believe I am.
I'm having a general discussion about some facts.
Why is it that when ever anyone starts talking about the nitty gritty or
trying
to grasp the nettle by the hand everyone runs off to hide in the corner to
let the status quo fester ?
I'm sure Bob, like myself and other honest citizens that you strive to make
those who make the rule and influence our lives accountable and tranparent as
the rest of us are expected to be ?
I see no harm in debating the facts that are just that.
If the Australian contingent had got their way, it would have affected
*MY* licence and *MY* enjoyment of the hobby, not to mention tens of thousands
of others in Region 1.
Could not the WIA have tried to exert some influence to ACA delegates BEFORE
they arrived ? Or does the WIA have little influence with the ACA ?
And Bob, stop thinking I'm having a go at you or Australian amateurs - I'm
not.
