Lemonade Scones Recipe

Typed by ZL1ABS (from my mother's old, handwritten
recipe book)
An old newspaper clipping attributed to: Marie Heke,
Capalaba, QLD, Australia.
Ingredients

1 can (375 ml) regular lemonade
4 cups flour
1 cup thickened cream
6 teaspoons baking powder

Instructions

"For the lightest, fluffiest scones you'll ever eat, try this easy method.
Combine 1 cup thickened cream with a 375ml of lemonade. Fold through 4
cups sifted flour and mix to a dough. Cut into rounds with a 5cm cutter
and place in a greased tray. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius (375 Fahrenheit)
for 15-20 minutes. Serve the scones with jam and whipped cream."
