It was something that happened, and well some genius decided
to change French Fries in the USA to Home Fries..I guess all
over the 911 episode and something the French did, that is
now lost to history, unless someone else knows I have forgotten
as I thought then as now...dumb reaction.
Forget it Warren ... the USA is not mad at the French now.
No reason to be, even if it was a good PR thing at the time.

Thats intereting, our Home Fries, are big chunks looking like
rejected French Fries and nearly hash or bits...duh? Then I
see lately them called Beef Eaters as thick cut...so oh well
it is like Canadian Pizza...I never saw until I went to the
USA ...duh...eh? The toothpick size is called shoe string
here ... so marketting at work.

Aaaah yes "Chanukah" has started and one of my Jewish pals offered
me some. He mnetioned the name, but the spelling never stuck
and I think it is potato-type bread or a roll or something.
Why is Europe ahead?
