"Gingernuts Biscuits (recipe #2)

Ingredients (makes 50)
5 ounces (125 grams) Butter, chopped at room temperature
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1/3 cup Golden Syrup
1 1/2 cups Plain Flour
1 Tablespoon Ground Ginger
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
1/2 Teaspoon Mixed Spice
Instructions
Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Combine butter, sugar, and golden
syrup in a medium saucepan. Stir over a low heat until smooth. Remove from
heat. Stir in sifted dry ingredients. Cool for 15 minutes. Roll
teaspoonfuls of mixture into small balls, flatten slightly with a fork.
Place on four cold greased trays. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes at 360
Fahrenheit (180 degrees Celsius). Cool on trays. Store in an airtight
container, place a piece of baking paper between layers to help absorb
moisture and keep biscuits crisp."
