Dave, some of these people qualify for the title ECONUT. When it was
decided to put a wind farm here on part of the coast completely isolated
except for the maximum security gaol which is about 400 metres away behind
high walls and razor wire, with armed guards, the econuts said, "Not here.
This is pristine coastline and it will spoil it."
If scrub, sand and the odd kangaroo make it pristine coastline they might
have a point. However the cry is "solar or wind, but not here!" The wind
farm was built and is to be extended so they say, and not one kangaroo has
complained about it.
With those people you can't win.
