Dear fellow Scouters
In the village Kevelaer, Germany, DA2ED will be the JOTA station of
international participants of Scouts from the Boy Scouts of America, British
Scouts in Western Europe, Deutsche Pfadfinder Sankt Georg and Scouting
Nederland.
At the same time the County Conerence of the British Scouts of Western Europe
will be hosted in the same building, as well as an official German Radio
Station.
Apart from the JOTA activities (all bands, all modes) the Scouts will enjoy a
day of canoeing, hiking and cycling in the area of the JOTA station, which
will be completed with a superb barbeque at the station.
The host of this hughe event is by a local Youth Hostel. The owner himself is
an active Scouter in German, British and Dutch Scouting.
We are looking forward to a QSO with any of you, either by voice (DA2ED), by
packet radio (da2ed@db0pke) or by the internet (JOTI).
