My name is Jospeh and I'm the assistant Venture Scout Leader of the
1st Cospicua Scout Group which is one city, of the famous three cities
situated near the grand Harbour.
Our Group was founded in 1917 and at present we have 55 cubs, 50 scouts,
14 ventures, 10 leaders with a Healthy Group Council.
We will take part in this year's JOTA in October and we will be marking the
22nd consecutive year since we began to take part in this activity. We
will be operating as usual from our HQ which is an old tower situated
outside our city of Cospicua and it is about 85 m above sea level.
Also we will use the same call sign 9H3JAM.
At this time the Venture Scouts are preparing for an over night canoe
expedition in the sea, among other weekly meeting and other activities
such as backwoods, cooking, night hikes etc. etc.
We send our good scouting to you and all our friends also hope to meet
you some day if by any chance you come to visit us here in Malta so we
can offer some of our local food and in return you will give us a taste
of your good Chocolate Hi Hi !!
