FY - FRENCH GUIANA
===================
An announcement from Pascal, F5JSD:
A group of 10 operators will operate from Royale Island
(SA-020), French Guiana, for a period of 10 days in early
March 2004 signing TO7C.
The team is now 7 weeks ahead of departure. The target of
TO7C will be to make contacts on bands/modes that were not
covered by previous activities or by the few resident
operators. We therefore plan to have 4 HF stations running
24/7 respectively (CW, SSB, digimodes x 2), mainly on
WARC and low bands. A fifth station will be running
exclusively on 6m.
In order to make this operation a success, we are interested
in collecting, prior to our departure, remarks and wishes from
DX groups around the world. This will allow us to build a
traffic schedule, fitting with propagation of course, but also
with most DXers demand.
We have established a web site <http://to7c.free.fr> to
provide additional information and give real time feedback
during the operation.
This site includes an online survey to collect information
see <http://to7c.free.fr/poll.php>.
Last, but not least, TO7C is a self financed operation with
limited sponsoring. However, if you wish to support us (in
any form), you are welcome to contact us.
We are looking forward to receiving information from you
on our e-mail address: <to7c@tele2.fr>.
Kind regards and best 73,
Pascal - F5JSD
(On behalf of the TO7C team)
