Hello all....

Still having problems here wid' "Outlook Express", after fitting latest Norton Anti-virus &
Firewall.....Skye area expedition still "on schedule" with PABAY CN17 beginning Tuesday 5th August, not
before 1200Z. At the moment, plans after that are still very "fluid".....possibly the ASCRIBS
DI26...or....HARLOSH CN23.....after those....que sera, sera!!
Note: All islands on this trip will be IOTA EU-008. NO SKEDS, but if you need EU-008, let me know your
callsign, and suggest the best band and approximate time and we will look for you....Please do this BEFORE
Monday 4 August 1600Z. Thanks to those who have already e-mailed me......

Vy 73 de André, GM3VLB es Alex G(M)0DHZ (flying up tomorrow from his home QTH)

p.s. We will be experimenting with a 10m vertical fishing-pole for 160m. I had good results in a very poor
location in the recent CQWW 160m test....we shall see what how it performs near the sea (please see my
article on simple multi-band fishing-pole verticals on our web-site, www.gm3vlb.com , when the current
problem at the server end is resolved)....
