Sorry folks......I may have a pc problem....you may not have received this (sent last night) so I am sending
it again......This time sending to "Cc" instead of "Bcc"...

COPY of MESSAGE:

<<<Hello all.....

I have two bits of news for you:

1. STROMA DI34 16/17 Aug. GS2MP/p

By well known contester/DXer Chris GM3WOJ and GM island activator Derek GM0HLV., for both the Lighthouses
Weekend (perhaps Don W9DC could let me have the lighthouse reference number?) and as a GM island activation.
If WX OK, QRV with 2 stations WARC/LF/HF A1A & J3E. [Chris will soon join me amongst the ranks of retired
ex-Physics teachers and will be heard later in the year as ZL1CT - His technical expertise will be missed
by many].

2. SKYE AREA ISLANDS from 5th August for about 10 days André GM3VLB/p and Alex G(M)0DHZ/p intend to
activate:

PABAY CN17 (definite - from 5 August for ?? days - maybe 3 or 4), followed by some or all (but not
necessarily in this order) of HARLOSH CN23, TARNER CN22,
MINGAY CN26, ISAY CN25, ASCRIB DI26, RONA DI27, ORNSAY CN15 (Lighthouse Ref. ?? Don again
please) and of course SKYE CN14 itself.

Our PABAY hosts will again be David and father Jeff G3LWM. Please look out for recently licensed grandsons
Dan M(M)3NKA/p and Josh M(M)3LWM/p and for the PABAY RADIO CLUB station GM0PNS (and of course Jeff G(M)3LWM
himself). All QSLs to respective home calls (QRZ.com for details)

My apologies for the rather short notice but everything (permission + transport) began to happen last week
as I was about to leave for a few days in F-land.

Finally.....I get many requests for "rare" GM IOTA activity......e.g.Monachs, St.Kilda, Flannans, Shiants
etc. All of these are "possibles" for me, but a look at the map (distances/costs involved) + a basic
knowledge of Atlantic weather (even in summer!) will explain why such activations are infrequent. I was only
informed yesterday that EU-111 was activated during the IOTA contest by James MM0CWJ - I had no knowledge of
this activity and therefore could not pass along the info'. If anyone has ANY advance information, I am
happy to pass this on.

In the meantime, good luck es vy 73 de André, GM3VLB>>>
