OK, I think I am reading the real G4VWL ;-)

It is easy for me to remember your resignation from packet, because
you cited me as the cause.

An idea that I favour.

I *sincerely* hope that the FL tutors known in East Kent as the "Two
Johnny's" not only catch this disease, but suffer a long painful death
that I and other's can laugh about.

For the record:

* I am entirely FOR anyone who genuinly wishes to experience radio
without too much palava in getting a licence.

* I am concerned that the *reality* of the FL scheme means that all it has

done is introduce CB scum on the bands and has become a defacto
deregulation of the amateur bands.

NO, I am not just some loudmouth looking to propagate a chip on my
shoulder and neither am I kidding myself with delusion's of adequacy.

I have a genuine, independant and totally pragmatic view on this saga
and I absolutely believe in what I say.

"Never mind the theory, here's the reality" - Johnny Rotten didn't say.
