Hi.
Can anybody with a knowledge of Eastern European languages please check
14.337kHz and find out who these people are? They are there every day, and
even had the audacity to come on while a QSO had already been established
there and carry on with impunity. There are no call signs, and only one side
of a conversation is heard, suggesting that they are talking crossband
somewhere. Most of those heard are female, extremely strong and they object
to anybody asking if they have an amateur radio call sign. I was told to "Go
to hell" in broken English when I persisted!
20 meters is supposed to be an amateur radio ONLY frequency and with ten
meters being occupied and taken over by Eastern European CB crap, this seems
to be another example of commercial operation with a total disregard of the
accepted frequency allocations.
What is the Intruder Watch doing about this situation? Perhaps you have a
better idea of what is going on than I.
