Took me a few minutes to realise "uniden" means unidentified.
                                                ~~~~~~
The usual short form I see is UNID in most monitoring literature.

At first I thought of Uniden the design house of chicken boxes (CB!).

Still I had been reading The CB PLL manual the last few days getting ready
to convert that old President Adams to 10m that I had donated to me
a little while ago.
