Intruder Watch - 20m signal
---------------------------
A digital type signal received at a constant signal strength-9 has been
observed in Australia on 14.192MHz for days on end.

It appears for many hours from 0300UTC. One report from Jim Baxter VK3KE
says it's about 4kHz wide and its tone changes for short periods of time.

Attempts to decode its intelligence have so far not been successful.

A similar intrusion on the same frequency was identified as a mode F1B
system in Gdansk Poland but it has not been heard since late last year.

From Jim VK3KE's QTH the signal is the strongest on a beam heading of 120
degrees. Further reports are being sought from others on this possible
intruder and they should be sent to intruders@wia.org.au
