Hi Hans and readers,

Again not being given specific details I can only assume the problem to
be some unknown broadcaster, possibly in the Arabic (or related)
language. Just as well, nothing can be effectively done unless the
transmitter can be positively identified as belonging to a friendly
nation. Then they may be notified and IF they happen to care the
engineering staff can correct the problem. Unfortunately we usually have
to wait for the transmitter to self destruct or some other development.

Speaking of DRM, I just have this feeling it's going to be just about as
popular as HDTV in the US, not. People just can't spend money they don't
have on a new digital receiver, especially since the vast majority of
broadcasts are in good old AM. Some African bushman thanks his lucky
stars the village has a radio at all. BTW, I have yet to see a DRM set
available in the US or am I missing something?
