Hi Bob and all,

It's just as easy to change the TO field as it is the subject field.
<bork>

My telephone also has a spam filter, you may know it as an answering
machine. All day long I ignore telemarketers and robots but I digress,
one of the "bank bots" going on about my credit card is particularly
amusing. I never had a credit card, never needed one simply because if I
can't afford it I don't buy it, my debit card serves me well. My bank bot
doesn't call out but it's useful when I call in, I have no idea where the
credit card nonsense comes from and care less.

Speaking of e-mail spam, like Australia many countries have outlawed it
but as you may have guessed, the US is the world's biggest spammer.
Server records show that spam accounts for about 80% of all internet
traffic so basically they're blocking much more than they're passing.
Here's the interesting bit I probably mentioned, out of the little that
gets dumped by my filter the bulk is from China with a dwindling ammount
from Russia, (those babes are losing interest in my black hole software)
with the occasional business offer from a dot com somewhere. Oh, now
there are TV commercials for "e-mail marketing" so to borrow a jingle
from Oscar Meyer; I'm a spammer, he's a spammer, wouldn't you like to be
a spammer too? Oh fork you and the weiner you rode in on!
