Hello Dave.
Like in Brighton the streets are a dump here: plastic bags, empty
plastic bottles, chewing gum on the pavement, etc.
I'm living in a small city surrounded by woods and grasslands,
but even in nature I find garbage everywhere. Also garbage is floating
in the waterways.
Because my garden is near to a bicycle path I find allmost every
week garbage in my garden. Even when it freezes the youth drinks
coke at 7:30 when they go to school in winter...while they smoke.
In the cities/towns they clean the streets with these vehicles that
have revolving brushes underneath. If they did not do that
I figure we could not walk in the mainstreets of big cities
after 6 months.
Together with the graffity it all looks very shabbby after a while.
