Hi All

An eeprom from an MFJ 1270 series TNC works just fine in the mark 1.
Provided you don't mind your Paccom telling you it's an MFJ on powerup of
course. I suspect almost any TNC2 clone firmware will do. I have used a
number of Mk1's without problem but admit that I always replace the eeprom
without even bothering to check the firmware version as the firmware in
the Mk1 was a known heart ache. I've had no problem running them with any
other type of host mode including any version of "the firmware" but of
course I fit a TF2.7 or WA8DED eeprom before I start using TF command
sets.
