SuB: Supporting The Ham Bands...How ?.

Hello All.

There has been a lot of talk on supporting the ham bands and doing
things via RF.

The following is for persons that would like a easy and fast program
to use in " SENDING/RECEIVING " mail and could keep on line 24/7 on
there local Packet BBS node or HF PacTor Gateway.

First Some soft wear to download.

If you would like a program that you can download or even write you
mail OFF line to have it upload automatically as well as having the
choice of sending it by HF Radio into a HF MBO using " PacTor or
Packet " on HF radio even into your Local VHF or UHF Packet BBS its
EASY...or even sending it into a Tel Net system any where in the world
to any where in the world and having NEWS Bulletins weather or Sat reports
sent to you mail box or just using the ARPS Position report system with
or with out a GPS to which you can post again ver HF Radio, Packet or
Tel Net all using and supporting all the amateur Systems world wide
what more could you ask for.

Download " Airmail at Winlink 2000 at the following web URL

http://winlink.org/

Have a look at what this program can do for you and in what way YOU
can support the Amateur systems World Wide by using it on " RF ".

Its easy to follow and you can attach a small zipped file just scroll
click or drag and drop nothing could more user friendly than that.

So perhaps have a go at the following as it will support all amateur
systems world wide and you can do it via RF to RF, TelNet to RF
Email To RF or RF to Email after all we all know how to send a email
message so here have a go at this but first get your " Registration ".

How To Send a RF message into an Email address ?.

No its not NEW and its been around for years but there are a fair few
out there that don't know how to do this so here is some help on how
go about it all.
Just do the following at any PacTor MBO or Packet BBS system that's
on HF, VHF, UHF etc,,

At Command prompt: SP NEXUS
Subject prompt: E-Mail Address <<< Your Friends Email address

Example: SP NEXUS
joe_doe@aol.com

<Then just start writing " Your message " like so>

Good News!
Hello Tom, Dick and Harry, etc etc

(End as usual with '/EX' or 'ctrl-z' on a new line).

A Message can be sent 'to:' ONE E-Mail Address only
but multiple parties can be copied in by adding the following
line(s) to the text:
cc: E-Mail-Address

NOTE:
Please send just plain txt in the messages as they are going
via an RF link.

Some additional notes:
---------------------
Messages
  - must comply with relevant Radio Regulations.
  - should not exceed 10 kB.
  - be in plain language only.

========================================================
Registration
------------
It is recommended to register with Netlink HS0AC as you will have
a simplified E-Mail address ( yourcall@winlink.org ) and the sysop
can attempt to deliver all your messages, including those
addressed/formatted incorrectly.

Send your registration as: < SP NEXUS @ winlink.org

Subj.: Netlink Registration
Text : Your First Name
       Your Home MBO/BBS
(All *current* 'CMM' are registered automatically)

Best Regards

Peter VK8PDG.
