In manufacturing, the product is refered to as a cap seal, not a lid.

A couple of "new" ones for you.
I never heard anyone on CB say "destinated" when parking the mobile, but 
I hear the repeater crowd use it frequently. BTW, I quit CB many years 
ago, too many lids.
Another one of thier favorites is "clear and listening". This is about as 
much a contradiction as "military intelligence".
Now what did I say about lids on CB? Maybe that's why I use repeaters AS 
repeaters, not a hangout.
