At a computer show last year here in WA, there was a demo of a unit called
"Watchdog", which was a hardware backup unit. There was a $50.00 banknote
stuck to the monitor screen. When I asked what the $50.00 was for, I was
told it was for anybody who could disable the comuter without actually
damaging it.
I asked if they had brought their Windows CD to re-install and was told
"NO WE WON'T NEED IT."
It took about 3 minutes for me to disable the machine enough to require
the OS re-install. I got the $50.00 too!
