Other differences are that in some countries people when wishing to perform
certain bodily functions will ask to use the bathroom. Here in NZ they should
really ask to use the toilet as we regard it as impolite to perform such
functions into a bath. Perhaps we're a little old fashioned and not up with
the latest trends?

The local polytech has students from a variety of countries and has a serious
problem with breakages due to some students (who can hardly speak any
english anyway) standing on the seats. Maybe they need stainless steel toilet
seats? (ummm "bathroom seats"?)
