Well, in New Zealand we can do just that.There is a plug on the market called
a Tapon and if you fit this to an appliance you can plug another plug on top
of it.If you fitted them to all appliances you could plug them all into the
same point,one on top of the other.If you had a circuit breaker on the circuit
no harm would be done but it wouldn't be good practice to draw power through
a row of contacts, and too many and they tend to droop.They were intended for
two plugs only but I've seen more.The Power Boards mentioned in my last
Bulletin are far better,but Tapons were on the market long before Power Boards.
